Since 1967, ING Commercial Finance has developed into a broad service provider. And yet, we cannot be compared to a bank. You will notice this in particular in our proactive client approach and the flexible conditions of our services.

A look into the future

Whereas banks when granting loans focus in particular on the balance sheets of the past few years, and the equity base position in relation to the balance sheet total, we have a very different approach. More than traditional banks, do we attach value to the future perspectives of businesses. Qualitative criteria, such as an assessment of the management, play an important role in this context. Furthermore, we grant our loans on the basis of security such as receivables and stocks. This way we are able to grant large loans to businesses with a relatively small equity base, for example as a result of investments to facilitate an explosive growth. This makes ING Commercial Finance a very flexible financial partner. Companies in a certain phase of development will thus get that little bit of support for building a good track record as well as developing a nice balance sheet position.

Flexibility

Financing working capital is what we are specialised in. Based on our knowledge of the corporate world and our experience in the area of factoring we are confident to grant you much larger loans, based on the security of your debtors, than you would expect from your bank. Our average loan percentage lies between 70 and 90 percent of your total receivables. In practice, you can dispose of your money as early as one day after sending out the invoice.

No credit limit

Thanks to an automatic link to your transactions our credit lending runs synchronous with your credit need. We are the only party in the Netherlands, that does not apply a credit limit. This is due to our independent position on the Dutch market. Therefore, even if your business is expanding explosively, you do not run the risk of being faced with delay due to having to apply and account for a new limit.

ING Commercial Finance is a pro-active financial partner. Thanks to the dedication and experience of our account managers, who approach each client in a unique way, offering a tailor-made solution. In so doing they will provide a combination of our services geared to the client’s specific situation, industry and development phase.The credit management can also be provided tailor-made, for you may also have made different arrangements with your individual customers.

Credit Management

Thanks to our credit management (including collection), you have insight into your accounts receivable portfolio at any moment. Usually, we can also considerably reduce the average receivables period. Besides, as market leader in this area we have much knowledge of the payment behaviour of specific companies and industries. We like to share this knowledge with you so that you can profit from it in your own business operations.

Open versus confidential arrangement

Accounts receivable financing by ING Commercial Finance is possible on the basis of an open or a confidential arrangement. In both cases we provide a loan based on the accounts receivable portfolio. In an open arrangement in addition to this ING Commercial Finance also sees to the administration of accounts receivable and credit management including collection, whereas in a confidential or closed arrangement this will remain your responsibility. However, we may set conditions as to the quality of your administration. Of course also in an open arrangement you can make flexible arrangements on specific accounts receivable. Maybe you have customers with whom you wish to continue to maintain contact, or you may have agreed different payment conditions with certain (groups of) customers.
